Can tumor biology alone predict who will respond to immunotherapy?

A biology-first model using Genialis Supermodel to infer tumor immune state predicted immunotherapy response on par with models trained directly on treatment outcomes. It did so without using any response data in training. Across five clinical cohorts, patients with predicted immune-hot tumors were nearly twice as likely to respond and had longer survival, supporting immune state as a predictor of immunotherapy benefit.
